In a previous life, Axamenta was known to play Doom-, Fantasy and even Death metal, but after a lot of line-up changes they once more decided to make a radical shift in their musical style and began experimenting with a more technical and progressive approach.
Their love for movie scores also made them replace the keyboards by orchestra samples, which gives them a unique sound in the Belgian scene.
After a few months with the new line-up, 3 new songs were created which were recorded and baptised as the promo "InCogNation". A lot of very positive reviews and negotiations followed and resulted in the signing with the Dutch label Karmageddion Media.
